Pulo Merah Beach

Description

This beach known for small green hill with red sands located near shore, for hill can be visit only with walk when low tide.  At 1990 pulau merah beach area wipe by tsunami and cause severe damage, in latest 2012 banyuwangi government rehabilate access and develop this beach area. For the name pulau merah refer to small green hill at shore had height 200 meters, that hill have sand in red colors and covered it with green plant so can't see true colors it.

Surfing

Tide pulau merah area challangging and become ideal place for sport surfer, wave in this beach height range 3-5 meters fit for surfer loved. Information came from local people, tourist came from france, germant, and australia

Snorkeling

Maybe not like karimun jawa or the other snorkeling beach, this beach serve tour in under sea with beautiful view. Visitor want to feel experience snorkeling in pulau merah beach can rent tools near beach, and can see ecosistem under sea.
